Many teens have to face “Social anxiety Disorder”, but this topic is rarely brought up and discussed, which leads to a lack of understanding about this mental illness among their friends. Many do not see the perspective of those with this social phobia, and do not know how to support them properly. Therefore, “WHISPERS in a CROWD” is an exhibition on social anxiety organized for college students (18-25 years old) to experience the sensations of social anxiety disorder symptoms and guide them to the solution to support their friends with this issue. The exhibition is separated into 5 halls, each room visualizing each level of social anxiety symptoms.
